Always, attack stains as soon as possible and always flush blood out of clothing with cold water. I then place the item in a bag and pop in the freezer or in a small container of cold water in the fridge until I have time to deal with the stain. When time allows I rub the stain with cold water and a bar of laundry soap. Launder as usual with cold water. See ya' stain.
